Jarrett is running to provide a fresh voice for District 9. He’ll listen, build bridges, and stand up to the ‘business as usual’ crowd!
“LET’S SHAKE UP THE STATUS QUO!”
Compassion and Care: All people matter; and responding with care and compassion is how you will be served, because being elected is being your public servant.
Providing power you need to light your homes and offices is the necessary job of city council. Making sure it is affordable and reliable is my top priority.
From 281 North to your street, our roads, bridges and drainage areas are important to staying safe. Being proactive in the upkeep and upgrades, I will work together with our county departments to see we keep construction on time and with minimal intrusions.
Young families need the American Dream of owning a home. It’s what builds stable neighborhoods and I’ll work to lower the tax burden through property taxes so that the dream is still reality for all.
City government has grown in staffing and projects. My founding principle is to be fiscally responsible and that means making government smaller and spending money responsibly.
Planning for a better airport means we need more Fortune 500 corporations in our city. Let’s build the airport to attract not just tourists, but more sustainable jobs.
District 9 needs more convenient access to animal care services, city parks, and improved facilities at current parks.
Safe neighborhoods are great neighborhoods, and when we train neighbors to be partners with SAPD we invest in both.
People of disadvantaged situations can often find themselves homeless, not only without shelter, but without food, clothing, and hope. Through deepened relationships with our faith-based community and non-profit organizations we can rebuild broken lives.

“We shouldn’t be content with the status quo. Taxes have gone up, crime is rising, progress has been stifled, our infrastructure is worn, traffic is exploding, and our beautiful community looks tired and worn. I don’t have all the answers – but I know one thing for sure: the only thing scarier than change is staying the same.” – Jarrett
